Well I’m sure many of you would have heard about the Socceroos winning the FIFA World Cup Qualifier last night against Uraguay in Sydney Australia. But what more can I say, “Aussie Aussie Aussie, Oi Oi Oi!”

The event brought the entire nation together - Australia’s multi-national community was united by the sport that is normally considered the underdog when compared to Australian Football, but it was a moment to be cherished by many. No doubt soccer will have a much larger following in 7 months for the 2006 World Cup in Germany.

It was an exciting game to watch, even when I watched it again today it brought me to the edge of my seat. But what’s happening with the Wallabies? tsk tsk, don’t even go there …
