Woohoo! It’s great to see the Australian Adobe team step up and open a Flex Developer Derby outside of North America, in conjunction with Builder AU and CNet Networks Australia. Many of you will have also seen that Robin Hilliard of RocketBoots also opened a competition for the “Rest of the World”, the RocketBoots Rest of the World Developer Space Race. But if you missed that, now’s your chance!
Get inspired by many of the awesome submissions viewable at the Adobe Labs Showcase and on the RocketBoots SpaceRace page.
5 category winners can get their hands on an Xbox 360 games entertainment system, with one overall winner walking away with a 42″ LG Plasma screen. The winning entries will also be showcased on Adobe Labs.
For more information on the competition take a look at the official site at http://www.builderau.com.au/comps/adobe-flex-derby/

I would like to see chart components similar to google finance:
scrollable line chart (with smaller overview chart like GF has)
ability to attach other charts to bottom; Google Finance has a bar chart showing trade volume; i’d like to see a chart that I can databind to the larger chart and show whatever kind of stuff i want, it shouldn’t always schroll synchronously.
