Over the past few months, “flex calendar” has been the most popular search string that results in hits on Flex Daddy. A while back, when I was working for Achilles Foundation, we played with the idea of creating a custom calendar in Flex 1.5. Read more here. We soon gave up on the idea due to time constraints and the complexity involved.

But now … we’re all eagerly awaiting the release of Adobe Consulting EMEA’s Open Source Flex 2 Calendar Component. It’s been getting a lot of buzz, you can see by the number of comments, but we’re all awaiting a release date, or some more screenshots, or a teaser/demo … ooh, just something!
